1. Information We Collect
- Registration information. When you register for a NusantaRun event, we collect:
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as full name, nationality, gender, date of birth, identity document number (NIK or Passport), blood type, domicile address, beneficiary and emergency contact
- Contact information such as email address, phone number, and social media profiles (optional)
- Personal health condition survey
- Electronic signature for waiver confirmation will be processed via Privy, a third-party digital identity and e-signature provider.
Privy may require identity verification (e.g., KTP) as part of its own verification process that is governed by Privy’s privacy policy. - Fundraising participation is linked to a Kitabisa account, which you create and manage directly with Kitabisa. We do not collect or store your Kitabisa login credentials or payment/donation details; these are handled by Kitabisa under its privacy policy.
- Event day and checkpoint data
As you pass checkpoints during the event, your bib number is scanned and a check-in record (checkpoint and time) is created. This record produces your public race status (e.g., checked in, current checkpoint, elapsed time). - NusantaRun Live
NusantaRun Live displays runner name, nationality, bib number, category, and checkpoint progress publicly, without login, so that friends, family, and the public spectators may follow the runner’s journey throughout the event.
2. How We Use Information
- To administer event registration and confirm eligibility
- To operate race-day check-in and produce live race status
- To communicate with runners about the event via email and WhatsApp
- To support the charitable fundraising campaign, in conjunction with Kitabisa
3. Third Parties We Work With
We work with a limited number of third-party service providers to operate registration, e-signature and identity verification, fundraising, communications, and server infrastructure. These providers process data solely as necessary to perform their respective functions on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for any purpose.
4. Public Visibility
Registration for a NusantaRun event is not private. Your name, bib number, category, and checkpoint progress will be displayed on NusantaRun Live during the event and may appear in event results, photographs, or promotional materials thereafter.
5. Archival of Your Data
Once you register for a NusantaRun event, your registration and race-day data (including name, bib number, category, and checkpoint records) is retained in our permanent archive. NusantaRun operates as a multi-year, multi-chapter movement across Indonesia, and this archive allows us to maintain historical race results, recognize returning runners across chapters, and preserve the record of the event’s charitable impact over time. This data is not deleted following the conclusion of an event.
6. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, including Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU Pelindungan Data Pribadi No. 27/2022), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. Requests concerning data held by Privy or Kitabisa must be directed to those providers directly, as we do not control or have access to their systems.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our platforms rely in part on third-party service providers for identity verification, fundraising, data processing, and storage. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Yayasan Lari Nusantara shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or unauthorized disclosure of personal data arising from:
- Any act, omission, outage, breach, or security incident occurring on the systems of a third-party provider, outside our direct control;
- Any inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information submitted by a runner or participant;
- Any unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of information resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to cyberattacks, force majeure events, or third-party system failures.
This limitation does not exclude any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Indonesian law.
